Spotlight Sunday: iPhone

Ok, I know I am a day late, but I figured I would still put a recommendation up.  First let me prep this by saying, that although I love my Mac and almost all things Apple, I was never biting at the bullet to get an iPhone.  I thought they were much too expensive, and I didn’t want to pay for the data plan when I spend 9 months out of the country.  I was also not a huge cell phone user.  I think one of the things I did to frustrate Joe more than anything else was when I would leave the house without my cell phone.

But the more programs I started using on my iMac that I saw had applications that could be utilized on an iPhone got me thinking.  So I started looking at them a bit, and then Joe, being the spontaneous buyer that he is, just went ahead and bought us each one.  I didn’t need the 3G, as I don’t use internet away from the house that much, so I have settled in with my original iPhone quite nicely.  We got one off Ebay and the first one wasn’t great.  So the guy whose company we bought it from, took it back and sent me one that is really great.  I am using my cell phone more than I ever would have thought and it has really cut down on a number of extras I used to have to carry (I now can read my Bible on there at church, have my grocery list on there, and I no longer need to fight Joe for the Kindle because it has a great Kindle app).  So although I was resistant to jump on the iPhone bandwagon…I do really love it!

I never thought I would like my iphone as much as I did either. I resisted…even bought on a year ago and then returned it before I opened the box, because I thought the cost was crazy! Now I am realizing the savings!
