Summer Survival Product: Jojoba Oil

Although I would like to say that I never forget sunscreen, the truth is I often either forget or don’t reapply as I should, leaving our family with dry, burnt skin.  Not only is our skin fair, but it is sensitive too, so I have to be careful what I put on to moisturize afterwards or I end up with a screaming Elijah telling me his skin is stinging.  So a nice light product I use a lot in the summer is jojoba oil.  Jojoba oil is very similar to the oil produced by our own skin, so it is very gentle and natural.  You can use a few drops in your normal lotion/moisturizer (safe enough for skin on your face) or use it straight out of the bottle.  It can also be used as a hair conditioner, shaving oil or make-up remover.

It can be sort of expensive to buy, especially if you want organic.  The best price I have ever found it is from Acne.org, which is a site for those who suffer with acne, but sell products at wholesale prices.  You can get 8 ounces of organic jojoba oil for only $14.75, which is really cheap in comparison to other products on the market.

If you are looking for a good moisturizer for that sun drenched skin and hair, think about giving jojoba oil a try.

We are now experiencing intense heat due to global catastrophic factor we are in this year and years to come. It is wise to better get us the needed protection against the heat and the harmful sun rays especially this summer season. Jojoba in sunscreen moisturizing creams is a must. Jojoba has this similar natural human sebum a good choice indeed. Safe and effective. It also rejuvenates the skin back to its natural glow.
